Specialty Vertical Devices include trunk-mounted modems, handheld units, communications modules, point-of-sale devices, fleet tracking “black boxes”, and more. AT&T’s broad portfolio of certified specialty vertical devices allows you to deploy the right data device for your particular needs.
Specialty Vertical Devices are typically used for line-of-business applications, such as Automatic Vehicle Tracking (AVL), Field Service Automation, telemetry applications, and more. Businesses select Specialty Vertical Devices because of their special feature sets, in particular their ruggedness. AT&T works with third-party vendors to certify their devices on our network and help bring them to market as part of our commitment to be trusted advisors – offering our customers a wide range of business data solutions to meet their needs. The JBM Electronics Gateway C120 Cellular Router is a compact wireless router designed to economically connect devices to a cellular network. This Linux-based IP/VPN router allows TCP and async devices access to a CDMA or GSM network. The C120 provides protocol conversion, security and routing for the terminal’s data. The C120's CardBus slot support a carrier-supplied PCMCIA card for connection to a CDMA EVDO or GSM, HSDPA/HSUPA networks.

The Linksys Wireless-G Router for Mobile Broadband is really three devices in one box.
