The MP 595 GPS provides in-vehicle data solutions while operating over CDMA EV-DO Revision A networks with peak download data rates of 3.1 Mbps. To accommodate areas where such coverage is not yet available, the MP 595 GPS is backwards compatible to EV-DO Release 0, 1x and IS95-A networks. A 12-channel GPS module and 4 digital & 4 analog input/output ports are also offered to allow for advanced tracking and alarms.

GPS Performance
The MP 595 GPS includes an embedded, high performance 12 channel Trimble GPS module. With the Trimble GPS module, users can expect accurate reporting of position and velocity with ultra-low power consumption. In addition, the module determines positional fix in just forty seconds in the case of a cold start.
