Installing Nera’s recently announced satcom product, the F77, ships at sea will have at their command the communications tools associated with everyday business on land including email, voice, data, fax and video transmission. That’s because the Nera F77 terminal uses the world’s first global Maritime Mobile Packet Data Service (MPDS). It’s smaller antenna and below-deck unit lends itself to installation on any vessel, providing an integrated communications system.
