Zebra (Motorola Symbol) Wearable Computers
Motorola Wearable Computers are used to increase worker productivity by freeing up a user so he use both hands to perform his tasks. For instance, pickers in a warehouse use wearable computers which allow them to grab an item and place it in a carton without feeling constrained by having one hand hold onto a handheld computer.
A wearable setup consists of two components: the wearable terminal and the ring scanner. The wearable terminal is essentially a mobile computer with features like a display, processor, memory, keyboard, WLAN connectivity (802.11) and operating system, while the ring scanner contains technology for scanning barcodes. These two components can be connected together with a cable, or wirelessly with Bluetooth. The two ring scanners from Zebra are shown in the table below:
|Scanner||1-D Laser||1-D/2-D Imager|
|Host Computer||WT41N0||Bluetooth Device|
|Drop Spec||4 Foot||6 Foot|
|Operating Temp||-22F to 140F||-4F to 131F|
All Products are NEW, factory sealed and come with the FULL manufacturer's warranty (unless otherwise specified).
